Week 2

What’s up everyone!? Holy cow it’s been a week and a half it’s crazy. The first few days felt like forever but this past week flew by kinda! It’s been good tho learning a ton! It’s actually crazy how much I’ve learned in like teaching and stuff. 

The food has been real good still. I eat 2-3 plates usually I’m surprised I haven’t gained any weight. The caffeine free coke actually tastes about the same just with no buzz after hahah which is sad but oh well. 

Our classes are super cool the teachers are good but they get a little long, they’re 3 hours long at a time twice a day. This week we taught lesson to our TRC investigators. We taught 3 lessons to 3 different people and one guy committed to get baptized and the other two said they wanted to in the future, they are “fake” investigators tho so it doesn’t mean much. But they went good. 

I really miss actually driving\operating a vehicle or something like that hahah. My cuts and callus’s are slowly going away but my spiritual ones are fully worn hahah. The guys in my district are really cool we are all like best friends already and we are gonna be sad to leave them. 

We went to the temple this morning which was awesome. Sunday’s at the MTC are opposite from at home, it’s meetings literally allll day with little breaks. It’s all good stuff tho. We had a devotional Tuesday and elder Parella from the seventy spoke. I really enjoyed it. 

The new missionaries from our district got here Wednesday and it didn’t start so well haha. They came in really cocky and what not but they got better. One elder from our district is from Samoa and he is probably 5’ 7” 220 pounds and not a bit of fat on him. He’s so jacked. Anyway he taught us like this Samoan clap/chant things it’s legit I’ll have to send a video. 

Well everyone I can tell you one thing it’s that Gods love is real. He’s love you all so much. I can definitely feel it here. I’m so grateful for all of you guys support! Do good love you all! 

MTC Week #1

First Email from the MTC P-Day:

Well everyone I made it! The MTC is nuts. I got dropped off and they got me right into it. The first day we had a lot of orientation meetings and stuff that I can hardly remember but they were good! My companions name is elder midgley. He’s from West Jordan and he’s going to my same mission. He’s way cool we get along really well. The other guys in our room are super cool as well, elder Davis from coeur d’alene Idaho and elder shelp from Redding California. The four of us are always Together and always laughing it’s so fun. Elder Davis is like a perfectionist and we always give him crap for it and he does too it’s so funny. 

The food here is really good I eat like literally double my comp and the others haha. They have coke here but it’s caffeine free so it’s just for the taste :( I keep waiting for my grandma to get me a nice cold coke at lunch. The classes are really good but I do get restless sitting there I almost wish I was in 90 degree heat laying pipe haha. No I do miss working but the spirit here is so great! I’m learning a ton. 

I thought I would be more homesick but I, doing really well and having fun. We’ve already taught like 2 lessons and contacted 2 investors and set up appointment. I really appreciate all of you guys support. I wanna get to Australia but I’m soaking up my “short” time here. Well that’s all I can think of not much more than that is goin on just workin hard here!
