Week 24 Anotha One

What is going on people? Was a decent week, little slow but still good. So last Pday after I emailed, we went with the Sheriff's (member family) to 'The Nut'! Hahahah funny right? Jk but yeah it was this sweet little mountain right by the ocean that had a chairlift up it. Really awesome then we went to a cool beach just for a minute. They fed us pizza too so SCORE MAN. Hahaha anyway then Thursday we taught our newish investigator Emma. Well we have taught her twice since last week so I'll sum it up now. She is awesome. She went on for about 5-10 minutes about how we have this light, positivity, or glow about us and how she desperately wanted that, she just didn't know how and is a bit scared of that first step of faith. But I am so excited for her! Also taught Mary Louise this week which went well also, although she moving to Brizzy next month. (Brisbane) its actually her Bday today and we're having lunch with her!

We have been doing some pretty fun service as well, had a big bonfire at a members little farm from trees he cleared, which was awesome good times. Also smashed some concrete with a sledge and a bar yesterday which made my hands bleed, must be getting softer hands :(  anyway I LOVE this Gospel and the consistent happiness it brings me and others. I know it can help you in whatever way you're struggling, not just spiritual stuff. Well y'all remember WORK HARD, DONT BE LAZY. It's a trait not found much by some people this days lol. Have a good week mates and shoot me an email if you're struggling or have a funny story idk. PEACE OUT. esssskeeetit

Week 23 Elder Haleck!

Hey everyone man it was a good ol week in the green land of TAS!
Last Wednesday after we emailed, me and elder gray went to cradle mountain to meet with elder Knight and eskellson. It took a while to find them because we ended up not having service and its a big area. But anyway yeah we went to this awesome hike to a lake it was fun, look in my pictures..
So we had a great experience knocking doors Friday, it was the very last door for the day, and we had very little success. A lady opened the door and invited us straight in. She said she has been having a rough time with feeling happy, we were able to teach her the Plan of Salvation and she was pretty keen. She said we were like some sort of sign for her. We ended up mowing her lawn Saturday too which was interesting. I could have used a tractor to cut that grass, but we had a push behind with a catcher that had to be emptied into bags every 2 minutes, and we had to haul 4 huge bugs of grass in our car to the dump. Fun stuff!
Oh yea I gave my first talk in Burnie! It went well I think. It was on Forgiveness and loving one another so I think I learned a bit myself.
Monday we had district meeting which is always fun to see the squad. Then we stayed in Launceston because we had Zone Conference Tuesday. It was a great one!! We had Elder Haleck of the Seventy come and give us training! He's an awesome guy! Its always such a good experience to be with President Vidmar, that guys the man! Then after that we had a lesson with Gilberto! He's from Indonesia, super cool guy just a bit of a language barrier but my comp knows a little Indo and I'm learning!
Well I miss you all and hope you're just smashing it at whatever you're doing, that's what matters most is our effort! Love you all!

Week 22 TAZZIE LIFE!

What is up everyone it was my first week down under, the down under! Sweater weather is here!😉 Lets get to it.
So I am actually learning Indonesian! My comp knows it and we have an investigator that speaks it. I don't see it super necessary but I am willing to try it.
Man the members of the Burnie branch are awesome. I haven't made dinner since I have been here, the members have had us over and I love them already, ( food is a quick way to my heart).
We had a lesson with one investigator, Mary Louise! She is really cool and so close to being baptized! I loved teaching her the Gospel of Jesus Christ because she totally got it and saw that it could help her. We also taught this guy named Patrick. This guy is the man! He cooked us this amazing lunch and we had a crazy good lesson with him! He is very ready for baptism, he just needs to get to church, which is hard bc he works.
Saturday was conference for us here down under, so most of our day consisted of that. It was a super good one and the solemn assembly gave me chills. Sundays sessions got even better I couldn't believe the amazing words we were able to hear. I know that the changes were given to our prophet straight from God and these are the same revelations that started this true church. I hope you all have a chance to study these words we were able to get.
I hit 5 MONTHS Sunday! So crazy it has kinda flown by! So nuts.
So Monday we had district meeting in Deloraine, it was great bc we had FHE after with some non members! My district is way fun. That night we stayed in Devonport with my Boys Elder Knight and Elder Eskellson. They're from my last zone and #utahboyz. That morning I had the most fun  exercise in the mission. Me and Elder Knight we kicking around a soccer ball on the beach! Then we saw a skate park and were doing trick shots in there with the soccer ball. We did some service after that at a farm in Burnie, always fun. A skidster woulda been nice instead of a shovel but all goods the church is true!!! Love you all!!

Week 21 So I Got On A Plane

Well guys it was an insane week! First off i got transferred! I was so sad to leave Albury! They are like family to me, i love those guys up there! But i got Transferred to Tasmania!!! Im in the Burnie area! So yeah i had to pack up and get on a plane... which was the weirdest thing ever going to the airport and getting on a plane but not coming home! I actually just got into Tas a few hours ago. 3 other missionaries from my zone came down so that was awesome to have them in my district now! Elder Knight my dude is my District leader. We almost missed our flight too, like seriously we sprinted and barely made it, miracle.
Anyway the rest off the week was pretty normal. I went to a zoo where i could pet and feed kangaroos, deer, and tons of weird things. I got a ton of pics so that will describe it better! I cant even hardly remember what happened other than that because it has been so nuts...
Oh yeah Easter! Man what a great time of the year to remember our savior! It was a good Easter tho! We played some touch rugby, with some members which is always fun. Yeah thats all i can think for now, Tas is gonna be awesome even tho i miss Albury! Thanks all for the love! LOve you guys!
