Week 45 Transfers!

September 18, 2018

Hey fammm!

So me and Midgley had a dope last week together. We met some new friends in Echuca which is always a good thing. Hopefully we can meet up them again.

We helped out our members as well doing some service, at the Ludbeys farm. Good times as usual.

Sunday was an interesting one in Echuca... We had 8 people show up, non of which were the Branch Presidency, speakers, or Sunday school teachers. So me and Midgley spoke and helped out with the lesson.

Transfers: Midlgey is leaving!:( we were both sad. My new comp is Elder Middis from Brisbane. He's 26 and only got 2 transfers left!

Anyway hope you have a great week and keepn close to God and our Savior. Love you all.

Week 44 Ten Months!

September 11, 2018

Hey everyone this week was a blast!

So pday we rode the mountain bikes again. This time the ZLs came. It was interesting bahah. They both were not too confident on a  bike it was so funny. Then after we met this guy riding and I talked to him for a bit. He is way cool, we talked about moto too. We invited him to play basketball with us and he came!

Saturday was cool as well. We went to this "heritage truck show" it was mostly semi trucks. The Ludbey family was catering the event so we went to give them a hand as well as meet some people. We ended up helping them the whole day! We met some real cool people and saw some cool trucks.

Sunday was a good one, we taught our class and we had a decent turn out. I love Sundays and the special spirit it brings. We had lamb steaks at the Ludbeys that evening and wow they were awesome.

The neighbor we have that we see about everyday is really close to being taught. He came to church and he seems interested in what we have to say. Just don't want to push it too hard and too soon. I know that once he gets a taste of this amazing gospel he will change. He's a really nice guy.

District council this week was great. We had a good discussion about a talk by Elder Uchtdorf about faith. It was such an eye opener to me about the faith it takes to find these souls. After we went to pizza hut! It was pretty good, not American for sure.

Cool update: i hit 10 months last Saturday and my dad got an Elk too! Nice one!
Anyway thanks everyone for the love and support, miss y'all!

Week 43 300 Days!

September 3, 2018

Hey everyone I don't have much time this week so I will make it quick and hit the points.

- Saturday I invited our neighbor who has became our close friend to church and I honestly didn't think he would come but I still had faith. Lo and behold he showed up! I was so happy!

- Monday was a great district meeting as always.

- Tuesday was fun. So that evening we went to pick up the bikes for pday today. And bro ludbey was right in the middle of sorting cows! So I gave him a hand which was real fun. He loaded his calves up and Said he was taking them to market. He asked if we wanted to come, duh! So we went to the stock yards with him, it was really fun.

Anyway guys thanks for the support and remeber to just work hard, be humble, and pray. Can't go wrong. Love yall

Week 42 WANG!

August 28, 2018

Hey everyone how is it goin?
Been a good week for us down under. Oh on pday after we emailed we found a sweet mountain bike park and did some fun trails there. Then Sunday we had a good day. We taught the youth class, we have a good small group in our branch. Also we had some good talks that I liked.

That night we traveled 2 hours to Wangaratta to stay with the elders for interviews the next day. The AP's, us and some other elders stayed there as well. Interviews were so good, President Vidmar is the man. We had a good district council with the whole zone as well.

That evening we had exchanges. I went with Elder Jackson from Rexburg. He is 6' 7" i think, idk but its around there. The next day him and I did some work in Wang. It was a great time. Then we drove back to Echuca, we stopped at a small town that he had some members to visit. In echuca we played basketball which was decent.

Now it's pday and our phones got messed up again. It deleted most of our apps and won't let us install them, noice m8. Anyway hope you guys are all doing great and saying your prayers, reading your scriptures and doing your best to trust in Christ. He is the light, and the way, I know it. Love you guys!

Week 41 Great Week!

August 21, 2018

Hey everyone what's goin on? This was a good week here! On Sunday we had a good turn out to church, thanks to a few visitors. Though it was a good meeting, the district President spoke which was awesome. We also taught Sunday school (last minute). Also had the luncheon after! Gotta love food.

Monday we had a great district council on Monday. We had a discussion about how we can make our studies more effective. I learned a lot! From there we drove down to the city to stay the night with the deer park zone leaders because we had zone conference the next day. Zone conference was an awesome one. We had some great trainings by missionaries. It was good to see all the missionaries as well. President Vidmar gave us some council on how to be more effective teachers through practice teaching. He is an amazing President.

Also shout out to my dad for puttin down a buck on the opening day of the bow hunt! Nice one.

Well thanks everyone for the support, love you all.

Week 40 Echuca!

August 14, 2018

Hello friends, family, and whoever else ended up on here! It's been a decent little week here in Echuca! No miraculous stories this week but still a good week.

Friday we finally taught Matt, a non member brother of Mark Ludbey our Elder qurom President. The lesson went Well, he had a ton of great questions and we really started to get to know him and his concerns. He is such a cool guy with a great heart. Also kinda teaching his mother and his son as they come in.

Church was also a good one this week. One of the bigger turn out that I've been to here. Probably 20 people? It's great super strong branch. We taught Elizabeth in the gospel principles class. She is continuing to grow even though she's been baptised. She also brought us food so how could you not love her? 😊

District council was Monday and it was kinda weird cause one of the areas got closed so the numbers were low. Still a great meeting with the new elders in our district. We have been having discussions recently rather than a full training. I like them a lot and learn a ton. We did a full 20 minute role play on the plan of salvation and then discussed how we can improve. Also discussed on workin with members! The key! At least in Australia bush! It was good though.

We played basketball last night and that was always good to talk to all the non members. Been 6 weeks since I fractured my finger.. I don't think it healed correctly cause it won't bend all the way or straighten 🤔 any suggestions before I get a hold of our nurse? 😂 anyway thanks guys for supporting and being cool as. Love you all stay safe and stay humble...

Week 39 9 Months!

August 7, 2018

Hey what's up everyone it was a pretty busy week this week.

Friday night we went to Shepparton cause 2 Elders were going home and leaving down to the city the next morning. The zone leaders went down with his comp and one other, so we had Elder Orr in a trio with us! It was fun.  Sunday was great for testimony meeting. The spirit was very strong. Me and Elder Midgley both shared.  We also had a meeting to discuss what we are doing to be teaching Matt ludbey, a new person we are teaching and brother to the Ludbey family. We are pretty excited to teach him and wee finally set a appointment. He knows he needs to change and to bring Christ into his life, I'm grateful we can be there for him.

We got transfer news... We are both staying in Echuca!!! So pumped. But Elder Orr's area, Finley, is getting closed down so Monday we went up and he packed up and we cleaned up the flat.

Tuesday was a long day.. fun though! We drove a total of 8 hours! First down to the office to drop off elder Orr, about 3 hours . He had to drop the car at the office so we got a ride back to Shepparton where our car was. From there we drove to Finley to pick up their dryer because we haven't had one! Yay finally we have a dryer!! We played basketball that night which was Good!

Sorry not much spiritual experiences as it was busy week, but we still got stuff we needed to done! Have a good week everyone! Love ya!

Week 38 Good Week!

July 31, 2018

Hey everyone this might be a short one. Anyway this week was good, we in Shepparton a lot of last week which was good.  Ahh last pday we went to paradise falls, can't remember if I mentioned that last week. That was really cool.

Church was also another good one. We ended up teaching Sunday school which was 3 people haha! It was good though we had an investigator there too! We taught a very simple lesson about who God is. Then we went home because there really wasn't enough Priesthood to gather.

Monday we went and helped out at a community pantry type deal. Unloaded and sorted a bunch of food. Good times, we are going to meet some new people that way.  Also had a great district meeting!

Well that's about it, thanks for the support everyone and remember that God is there for you no matter what. He loves you.

Week 37 On the Road

July 24, 2018

Hey sup everyone wow that was a quick week!

This week was good! I was only in Echuca a few days because we had exchanges. They were fun though. First I went to Shep with Elder Barlow my Zone Leader. It was fun, he's a good leader.

Saturday we helped the zone leaders clean up their flat... no it wasn't pday but This was an exception. Their flat was a wreck. So the housing coordinator, us, the Zl's and a Senior couple were all there to get that place in shape. I was in yard doing work all day, it was a mess. There were 5 big holes in the wall to fix,  broken window, and a kitchen that needed a deep clean. It was a fun day hahaha.

Monday was busy as well. We had a district meeting. I led a discussion on 2 Nephi 33. Nephi is very bold in this chapter so there is a lot to learn from that. It's a great chapter I recommend reading!

Also Monday we had our interviews with President! Always a great experience! I learn so much from Pres Vidmar. This was in Wangaratta and we stayed there that night for exchanges the next day.

Tuesday I went with Elder Otto from France. He is really cool, he was in Burnie right before me so we had a lot to talk about. We Found a good former investigator to talk to as well. Then we drove back to Echuca with 3 other Elders and played basketball! Good times on the road and sleeping on floors this week 😉

Thanks everyone for the support, love y'all.

Week 36 Hey Fam

July 17, 2018

G'day y'all, been a great week here! Well kinda basic but let's get to it anyway.

So last p day we played volleyball, well I watched cause my finger. Which is healing just a lil stiff so that's good! Which reminds me of a country song "Pain hurts, but only for a minute. Life it short so go on and live It, cause the chicks dig it." Not exactly the correct motive for everyone but hey good advice non the less.

Rest of the week was just some finding around Echuca, met some good friends. It's really tough to get people to open up but it's something we are working on.

Sunday was great we had more then 10 people at church hahaha so success. We actually got a referral. From a family that we are pretty pumped for cause they will be at church most weeks.

District meeting was great as always, had some training on breaking the ice when first contacting people. It's was really helpful.
Thank you all very much for the support and love. Send an email if you're bored 😉

Week 35 Small Changes

July 10, 2018

So this week was good, Echuca is a great place to serve, good ol country town.

So oh yeah this week was a mess trying to get my finger looked at.. so it is broke (cracked). The process was long so follow and I'll try to put it simply. So it happened at basketball Tuesday. I didn't wanna go to the doc really cause im tough right? but I was worried about it healing bad so finally Thursday i called to get an appointment with a GP but they said we don't have one just go to the emergency department. So we did at 6pm. Well after 2 HOURS of figuring out the insurance and waiting I saw a doctor. He basically just pulled on it, bent it, and said yeah you need an xray but we don't do xrays after 7. Ok NOICE bro. so I went to the radiology department Friday and got an xray. Then found a family clinic that would squeeze me in that afternoon on a waiting list. That doc looked at the xrays and said yep you got a crack in there just wear this cast thing for 2 weeks and see how it feels. What a fun time lol.

But we had some good training this week at district meeting and zone conference Monday and Tuesday!

• In District meeting we had a great training on finding because our district kinda struggles with finding people, yes it is the bush in Australia which is very tough, so new ideas for finding helps out. Our districts unity is very strong however so I'm confident we will figure something out to progress this work.

• Zone Conference was really good as well. President Vidmar gave us amazing instruction as always. There were also some changes made... We are now approved for 《Facebook》I will be posting and responding to messages so hmu ;) jk! Well actually I can respond but yeah haha. Also some slight changes to Preach my Gospel so that was cool to see and learn. The changes were made slightly change somethings to focus more on Jesus Christ in our teaching. I know he is our savior and he can rescue us in our time of need if we allow him to.

Thank you all for reading this and thanks for the support, I hope you're all melting in heat cause it's nice and chilly down under. Hit me up with an email if your bored, have a good one 👍
