Week 75 Another Broken Bone!?!?!

Well g'day mates!! Sorry I missed an email last week, it was a crazy pday! Lots happened to I'll try to hit the main points. 

So last pday we went to the 12 apostles! It's a really cool ocean view area with a beach, the pictures will explain best. We had our last district council with my companions before they went home!

So Elder Chitsano that we thought broke his toe, ended up going to the doctor for it. It's a displaced fracture and he got a boot!  that's 2 collar bones, 1 finger and 1 toe broken from me and my companions! Good times. 

General Conference was GREAT. I loved every single talk! From what I got from just about all the talks is that this life is a time for US to choose to follow God, and that he loves us and wants us to accept and follow Jesus Christ. There are so many talks and quotes I could share but that's the general theme for me. 

Well my 2 companions are home now and I have a new one. Elder Warren! We should do some great work together! We got up to bendigo after we visited an online referral that ended up being a joke we were told  anyways thanks everyone for the support love yallllllllll🤪

Week 74 No Email Went to the Beach

Week 73 Finally Moved!

Well this was a good week, not super eventful but still good! 

Friday we had a real good district meeting, our trainings were focused on working with members. Everyone participated well. After that we finally went and got all my stuff from the Seymour flat and brought it back to Bendigo. I had been living on a few pairs of clothes for 3 and a half weeks. Anyway Sunday both of my companions spoke and gave their departing talks! It was nice. Afterwards was the luncheon, can't go wrong there. Monday I came down to exchange with the Mickleham Elders cause my comps went to the departing seminar Monday and Tuesday. Monday was April Fools and we pulled a bit of a prank on our Zone Leaders We pretended that we were an investigator that wanted them for dinner. Long story short they cancelled their dinner appointment, drove an hour, and walked up to a random house  it was pretty funny in the end !

Week 72 Zone Conference

March 26, 2019

It was another interesting and great week here down under! 

We have been having some great meal appointments at members and having a good relationship with them, so that's always a plus. Friday we had district council and it was awesome. My district is so good. Oh yeah since we had to ride the train down to DC but the car park was completely full so I had to park somewhere else.... this was because "we" ( I wasn't ) were late. Ended up getting a 55$ parking ticket!!! Apparently the driver has to pay for it  oh well; this too shall pass. 

Anyways Saturday we did some service pruning some bushes, good fun. Then Tuesday we had zone conference! It was awesome. It was a super upbeat and positive one. Our mission is killing it. We had a friend of the Vidmars come and speak to us about how to have positive thoughts, she's a life coach. It was great. Then we had interviews after, which were awesome as always.

I'll share just a little from the zone conference training. Our thoughts are not controlled by our feeling quite often, it's our thoughts that control how we feel! Thus how we behave. So many of us have negative thoughts that we let linger and make the situation way worse than it actually is. It was also said that there are no good and bad events just good and bad ways to interpit them. Obviously there are good and bad events but this is a great way to look at it.
