Man its been another scorching week down south! Apparently we have been told by members its been a huge heat wave here. Melbourne city hasnt been as bad, but since we are so far inland its been worse. We got in the car monday and it read 45 degrees Celsius! That 113! ridiculous man.
Anyway it was a good week other wise. We have had a few meetings with the branch president and the ward mission leader to really figure out which less active members we can work with, theres a lot.
Thursday was a day like i had so many back home... We worked on this '92 Toyota little pickup. We had to replace the torsion/control arm bushings on each side. We were under the truck on our backs and it was super hot so that was fun. It took about all day, we didnt have the tool to take the bushing out so we used a hacksaw and a hammer lol! But we ended up getting it done.
We went to a members 20th anniversary party the other day. They are Philippine and they had theyre whole family there in a little house it was crazy, the food was amazing. Philippino food is a must try.
We had a lesson with our new investigator Olga! It went well, people have so many issues i wish i could just fix for them but ultimately it is up to them! Thats may main message to you all. Nothing is going to happen for you until YOU change it. WORK is gonna fix what dont work anymore! Keep that in mind this week and i promise you will see results as you apply it spiritually! Hope all is cool up north i miss ya'll!
