What up everyone!?
This week was pretty nuts! On Wednesday we went to mount Buffalo, which was super cool i will send some pics! It was nice to see some mountains finally. That night we spent the night in Wangeretta because Thursday we had a review for the new guys in Melbourne. Then we stayed in Wang Thursday night as well.
Friday i was on exchanges with Elder Skankey. He came to Albury and we did service alll day which i liked but i dont think he did ha! But we had to go to a doctor appointment for him at lunch. He had to get 2 ingrown toe nails removed, and i had to go in the room with him. Not fun.
Saturday we also had service mostly all day. We helped a family clean there old house they moved out of and then they took us to Morgans look out. Its a big rock outcropping that an old Bushranger would hide on. It was really cool. That was with the Hoysteads. They are finally moved after about 3-4 full service days of moving, but they feed us super well so its good.
Christmas was way good! I opened some gifts then skyped my fam, so fun. Then we went to the Hoysteads at 12 and they fed us really well. They had prawns, which are like massive shrimp with the heads still on them so you have to gut em basically ha! Then at 2 we went to the Wolffs. They are a super nice family with a ton of little kids. They had like a fancy gourmet meal for us and we hung out there all day.
The members here are awesome, we get fed pretty dang good and we got a ton of Christmas gifts from the members. I got lots of candy, cologne, soap, a shirt and shorts, all kinds of stuff. Aussies have some different traditions for Christmas, they have a ton of fruit cake and Christmas pudding. They are ok but i dont see why you cant just have normal cake without a bunch of junk in it? oh well. Hope you all had an awesome Christmas and were able to remember the true meaning! Love you all!
