Hello everyone!
Been another week in the heat down here! We had the Mission Christmas party which was pretty cool to have the whole mission together. We had a mini Olympics which was a little crazy when your mission president is a Olympic gold medalist! haha! We also played footi which is like Australian football. Its like a mix between soccer, basketball, and rugby.
So thursday we did service we hauled this ladies junk to the dump. It was only in a little 6x4 trailer and it cost like $30 at the dump. My comp couldnt back the trailer so we had to break the rules and i backed it up. I have backed many trailers up but being in the opposite side of a car with a 6 foot trailer is weird! We had a steak dinner one night and i learned that my comp had only had steak 2 times before and it was both in Australia! Hes from a good american family to i was like what the!?
Ok so this is probablly the craziest thing i have seen here! SO we are at the senior couple in our areas house and the guy is a straight aussie and he loves cars. So He shows me the classifieds and i come across a 2003 Gas Chevy 3500 dually. In the US that would be worth like 20k ish. But these guys wanted 70k for it!! Thats insane! YOu could buy a brand new Diesel for that and it went on with incredible price tags for full size trucks, guess thats why i dont see them.
